Why Loserr.com is on the Internet?
Let me start by apologizing to all those dedicated members from the original Loserr.com website.
In the tradition of being the owner of Loserr.com, I forgot to renew the website when the lease came due. Not that GoDaddy didn't try to write and call me, several times, but I thought they were trying to sell me something new. One day I went to sign on to make updates and the user name and password no longer worked.
I have been told several times since then, that being the owner of Loserr.com, this story was a perfect fit for the website.
Now after 8 years, I finally was able to buy the website back.
A lot has happened since the website first began over 11 years ago. The Dot com market crashed, cell phones are smaller, videos are easily available online and Loserr's are still getting a bad name.
Of course, Tiger Woods is giving Winners a bad name right now as well.
Mission Statement
The purpose of the Loserr.com is to provide the insight into the mind of the Loserr. As you will find that means it can go in any direction at any point.
The humor aspect is evident in many sections from the Loserr of the Week, the Advice Column, the College Stories, the People Have Bad Days and the Animals Have Bad Days II sections.
But the website also champions the little guy, who so many times gets overlooked and that is why we have Sports sections that emphasis the motto of "We celebrate the Effort". It also is shown in the Comics section, the Unknown Musicians section, and the A Loserr Is.... poem section.
Loserr.com also provides an outlet for the gamers with the Almost Impossible Trivia and the Second Life section and several new sections that are about to be added.
The age range of the Loserr's target audience can range from 17 to 77, as we kind of lose them after that with our 8pt fonts.
In the end, the Loserr just hopes he can tap into some part of your brain that will make you come back over and over to get away from the problems and stress of everyday life.
