Stan Cox was born in Texas, and raised in Oklahoma. Stan describes his music as "Mod-ditional", because it includes the "Traditional" style of Country music, with the "Modern".
Stan is married to LaDanna, and together they have 15+children.
Stan has been performing for audiences since the age of 8 years old, and released his first album in August of 2008, after being discovered and encouraged to do so by International Music Promoter, Gary Bradshaw, and Nashville Record Producer, Lonnie Ratliff. With the release of his 1st album "Runnin' Down The Road", Stan was welcomed to country music radio worldwide.
"Hits" named Stan #69 in the top 100 Internet Radio airplay artist's for the year 2009, with a song from his not yet released album titled "Angels, Truckers, and Honky'tonk Nights"..single titled "Hard Rain Comin' Down".
New Music Weekly reports that "Hard Rain Comin' Down" has steadily made it's way up their Country music Chart, and was in the #28 position at the end of 2009, and Stan was listed as #13 in their list of Top Indie Artists.
